Have you ever wondered, why is it more important to take care of your skin during the summer months? We are often asked this by our clients and we have the two most important answers for you.
The first is that it is of the utmost importance to protect your delicate skin from the harmful exposure to heat temperatures and dangerous UV rays. We recommend clinical products that have SPF included in them by our trusted medical grade skin care brands, but wearing any SPF on your face or staying out of the sun and keeping in the shade is always a good idea for your skin.
The second reason is that because we are sweating, swimming, laying in the sand, and doing all different types of outdoor activities, we may inadvertently clog your pores with excess dirt, bacteria, or other debris that comes with the season. We suggest that you wear medical grade skin care products which will protect your pores, and make sure to wash your hands frequently, as well as be aware of touching your face. If you find yourself in a situation where your face does feel extra oily, washing it with water throughout the day, and ensuring you give it a great cleanse in the morning and before you go to bed is imperative to maintaining you’re glowing skin that we worked so hard for all year.
